Emergency Tree Felling in Twickenham

Large London Plane (platanus x hispanica) fell outside Twickenham station:

Job description, to section fell to ground level using rigging equipment and grind out remaining stump completely.

Day 1: Fletcher climbs the tree and installs a suitable safety line and then the rigging line with blocks and pulleys , to allow for safe and controlled lowering of large branches to the ground where the ground team can process them.

Day2: Fletcher climbs the tree and removes and lowers the remaining crown leaving multiple standing poles

Day3: Rich section fells the remaining  poles and we pull the last 10m of trunk over with the pickup, we use a grabber lorry to lift and remove the fallen trunk

Day4: A stump grinder is brought in to grind the stump, turning it into mulch

Job done.
