DIY Tree Surgery

Diy Tree SurgeryWARNING!!!

A very high level of training and expertise is needed to be a tree surgeon.  It is after all a highly dangerous profession. Do not be tempted to try to perform DIY tree surgery.  Red Squirrel Tree Surgery are fully qualified, fully insured and very experienced. We can tackle any arboricultural situation with confidence, whilst always adhering to British standards (BS3998:2010) and all health and safety laws.

Red Squirrel always take all risks to persons or property into account by completing site-specific risk assessments.  This is done before every job. A detailed method statement is carried out prior to the days work in more difficult situations. Method statements show all equipment needed, all employees and their qualifications, a site plan and emergency contingencies.  The statement will also show the exact method by which the work will be undertaken.

Red Squirrel also take into account wildlife and ecology (e.g. nesting birds and roosting bats). A scope survey for bats is carried out when we visit for a quotation.  Then if any roosts are suspected we will carry out an aerial survey on the day before any work starts.

Do not attempt DIY tree surgery without qualifications or enough experience. Always call a professional.
